EL CIRCO

 soledad del lamé: de lo que brilla
 no llora lo que ríe sino apenas la máscara que ríe lo llorado
 llorado en lo reído:
 lo que atado al corcel, lo que prendido
 al garfio
 de la soga:
 la écuyère: domadora
 la que penachos unce por el pelo
 prendida a lo que mece: a lo que engarza:
 ganchos
 	    alambres
		          jaulas
		 animales dorados
 		a los aros
		atados 	a los haros
 		halos
 		aros:
 			la mujer más obesa, la barbuda:
			la de más fuerte toca:
 			la enganchada
 					en el aire
 					en el delirio:
 		en la burbuja del delirio:
 					el mago
 					en sus dos partes:
 la que cortada en dos desaparece
 y la que festoneada por facones
 sangra de corazón: la que cimbréase sin red, la que
 desaparece

solitude of lamé: of what shines
not cries that which laughs but barely the mask that laughs he who cried
cried what's laughed:
what hooks her on the horse, what dangles
from the catch
of the halter rope:
the barebackrider: liontamer
she whose plumes nod in the hair
fastened to what sways: to what links:
hooks
	wires
		cages
	    gilded animals
	    o the hoops
	    tied to the rings
	    halos
	    hoops:
		the Fat Lady, the Bearded Lady:
		the Strongwoman:
		the trapezegirl hooked
			         in the air
			         in delirium:
	     in the bubble of delirium:
			         the magician
			         in two parts:
she who cut in two disappears
and she who festooned in long knives
bleeds from the heart: she who swings with no net, she who
disappears
