HP Magic Giveaway: Welcome y ¡Bienvenidos!

Very soon, I’m going to be giving away a bunch of fantastic computer equipment from HP, as part of the HP Magic Giveaway, co-sponsored by Microsoft Windows Live.

I’ll be running a contest here on this blog. You can enter it AND you can enter the 49 other contests listed on the HP Magic Giveaway page!

If you’re here for the first time from the HP pages, welcome. I’m a feminist, activist, poet, and literary translator; I’m a computer programmer and a geeky, gadget-loving mom; I love games and science fiction, blogging, photos, and creativity! If you like to talk about any of those subjects, you’ve come to the right place. Especially if you like to mix up those subjects. Take a look at the tag cloud in the sidebar, and see where you might intersect with me and this blog’s readers. It’s very nice to meet you!

¡Y, Bienvenidos a todos que hablan español!

Stay tuned for my contest guidelines. Meanwhile, drool on some photos of these gorgeous computers that you have a great chance to win!

    You’ve sure got my attention!

  2. Devra says:

ooh they are very lovely in a non-sexually harassing way which doesn’t indicate they need should be wearing cosmetics. They are naturally beautiful!

  3. Liz says:

Devra, you crack me up! Maybe a pink curvy laptop in a sexy wig and false eyelashes would give us some fuel to criticize. But you’re right, these are some nice looking computers.

  4. Skye says:

Devra totally gets points for combining feminism and technology in her comment.

  5. barbarabaker says:

My attention and hopes are all hear; ready, alert and willing to do what it takes to have a shot at this!!!!!!

    This is just too cool!!!

  6. DivaLea says:

Even if it was the ugliest color on the earth, I’d take a computer that let me paint and draw without hacking up a “this program is not responding” hairball.

I love gadgets.Whenever i see a new gadget is coming, i try to get as many reviews of that as i can. Most of the time i have to be happy just by going through a review or drooling over some pictures but anyways, one can't get all the good things in life.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures of some nice HP gears. The touchsmart is what i'm more interested in.It's sleek, less power hungry, bigger workspace & most of all it's Touch sensitive.I've always dreaming about those Touch sensitive devices but never could lay my hands on them.Anyways, thanks for the pictures.

This is the most incredible contest that I have ever seen! I also thank you for such awesome Pics that truly make us all drool while we hope that we get chosen.

If I win this prize, I will give the equipment to my parents, sister, cousin, uncle, and the local library since they all have lower end equipment and are in need of some new stuff.

Oh, I’m late on the topic, but you said to reply to any post, soooooo…

I have to admit, the idea of a laptop in a bustier and silk leggings, a la Tim Curry in RHPS, rather tantalizing.
